DANCE WORKSHOPS
Fancy having a go at Bollywood?
Workshops are ideal if you would like to try Bollywood Dancing for the first time or if you just fancy being lifted into the magical world of Bollywood! No previous Bollywood experience is required for these sessions.
Each workshop begins with a warm up session followed by teaching of short routines that are broken down step by step for everyone to enjoy. Different styles of choreography and music are used so that you can try a range of moves and get a taster into what Bollywood has to offer. This includes traditional Bollywood dancing, where intricate hand movements and hip shaking are important, and Bhangra which is a fast style of dance involving quick arm and leg movements.
The workshops are fun and light-hearted sessions for people of all ages to enjoy. Each participant receives a CD with all the music used during the session - for you to enjoy and practice in your own time!
